The topic of this new Live CodingSession is "Making your own negative filter widget for InstantSearch".
Haroen Viaene, JavaScript Library Developer at Algolia, will create an InstantSearch widget to apply filters of values to exclude in both Vanilla and Vue InstantSearch.
In this live coding session you’ll learn how, in around an hour, to make a new custom widget yourself to exclude certain refinement values from the search instead of require them. This is useful when you want to search for example for brands to avoid. You will during that time also learn in detail how to split up code between a widget and a connector so that it can be reused in multiple versions of InstantSearch and how we publish custom widgets.
You'll be able to ask all your questions to Haroen throughout this interactive event.
