Cain Ullah, CEO at Red Badger, hosts the second Mission Beyond event 'Opening the doors; Reducing Inequalities'.
It features a great line up of speakers including:
Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter (author of Think Outside The Building) talking about the principles of advanced leadership and how they make for effective coalitions.
Barry Matthews (co-founder of the Employer's Social Mobility Alliance – ESMA) talks about how businesses can work together to address Social Mobility.
Sam Taylor (Tech Director at Red Badger) talks about how he and a small team at Red Badger, in partnership with ESMA, built a fully functioning proof-of-concept of the ESMA platform.
A bit more about Professor Kanter:
Author and academic Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter holds the Ernest L. Arbuckle Professorship at Harvard Business School. A leading thinker on strategy, innovation and change, she co-founded the Harvard University-wide Advanced Leadership Initiative and is the author and co-author of 20 books.
Rosabeth’s most recent book, ‘Thinking Outside the Building’ offers a bold new theory of advanced leadership for tackling the world's complex problems. She’s regularly included in high profile lists, such as ‘50 most influential business thinkers in the world’ (Thinkers 50).
Here she takes us through key principles that advanced leaders need to hold to if they are to form effective and change-making coalitions.
— Mission Beyond is a coalition of action-taking business leaders ready to step beyond the walls of their own organisations to solve the grand challenges of our times.
