Presented by WWCode Cincinnati
Women Who Code Cincinnati is excited to host Natalie Stroud, CPACC, Web Accessibility Specialist (she/her), to Celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) with our community on May 20 at 6 pm ET.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the set of guidelines Natalie works from to help determine what passes/fails when auditing websites. However, WCAG is a great tool for anyone and everyone - web accessibility specialists, developers, UX, designers, you name it. It can be scary when you first look at it because there’s a lot of information and a lot to read.
During this presentation, Natalie will give an overview of the WCAG and how to navigate through it and also the benefits it can provide for developers. She will also have time for Q&A with the group about accessibility and WCAG so bring your best and most pressing accessibility related questions!
